The Douglas County TEA Party was organized on April 15, 2009 when a grassroots group of 75 concerned citizens came together on the county courthouse steps to express their objections to the uncontrolled spending, unfair and punitive taxation, the increasing size and scope of the federal government and it’s violations against our constitutional rights.
We are a group dedicated to returning our country to the principles set forth by the constitution and to re-establish fiscal soundness. We encourage anyone who believes our country is headed in the wrong direction to join with us. Help us turn this nation around by becoming familiar with the issues that are plaguing our country today. Get involved, let your voice be heard and don’t let big government take away the America we all know and love!
